Arab Street Turkish & Western Restaurant

For those in the north. The journey to Arab Street in the weekends might be a hassle. Well this place tuck in the heartlands is just your place. The decor really makes you feel like you entered Arab street and even their sofa fit the theme (a little hard to get in). The decor and lights were beautiful and from where I was sitting, you could even see the kitchen. The place did had a power trip when we were dining but that was resolved in a min. The staff was friendly and recommended a few dishes from the menus. I was really controlling myself from over ordering as what I always do. I’m glad that the food portions were generous and was great value for money. Their salsa are some of the best I tasted. I’m sure to come again as I’m sure they will satisfy my hunger. Ohh yes they had some issue with the payments so we did a pay-now transfer method. Hope that that can be improve.

Me and husband really love this restaurant!! ❤️ At first we chose this place because we wanted something different in yishun area..once we arrived, the owner was friendly and recommended an appetizer to us..we were afraid we couldn't finish because all the portions quite a lot..but we never expected that dishes we ordered were very nice especially the lamb!( forgot the dish name 🤭)the beverages were nice and also we tookaway kunafa and baklava which were so good and not too sweet 😍 worth to try and definitely we gonna visit again soon and try other dishes ! 👌🔥 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Felt like having mediterranean food but was not in the mood to go to arab st (weekend crowd,parking hassle etc). Wanted to give this shop a try, saw the mixed review, so decided to just give it a try with no expectations. Glad to have tried it! Generous Food portion, had lamb shank mandi rice, mixed platter rice, kunafe with ice cream, hummus with lamb. Enjoyed it all. Saw some reviews saying food came late, we were served & begin eating within 10 mins. Service & atmosphere was great too. Friendly staffs. Thanks for the complimentary iced chocolate for my boy! 😁 Really not bad for a neighbourhood makan place. All in all, they have improved if anyone is contemplating the bad reviews like i did 😅

Very yummy and generous portions of freshly prepared Turkish food! Everything we had were good! The mains were nicely done and came with hearty portions of sides! The side salads, roasted vegetables (my fav!), pita and breads were extremely palatable and delicious! Nice and genuine service from the people too! Highly recommended! What a gem in the North!

Ordered the Tagine Musakka Cheese (Lamb) and it was incredibly delicious 😍 the eggplant with potato and cheese really hits the spot, and paired so well with the Mandi rice. The prices here are super affordable (much cheaper than the restaurants on the Bugis Arab street and in my opinion, much tastier too). Wished I brought my people with me so I could try the other dishes. The staff here are super friendly and hospitable, and the decor is great - perfect for friend/family/office gatherings. Definitely coming back whenever I’m craving Turkish food!

Great Turkish resturant in the neighbourhood! They have an extensive menu, sure to find something that suits your taste buds! We ordered the mixed grilled platter for 2. Loved their presentation ! And the portion is HUGE !!!! Extremely generous with the serving! Can easily feed 3 hungry diners ! The meat was nicely grilled with a nice char and great smokey taste ! The salsa also packed a nice punch of spice and sourness. its compliments well with the meats. Do try out if you are in the neighbourhood! Will see ourselves coming back again to try their other dishes. I hope they will be here to stay ! 🙏
